Clamp Together Ducting is applicable in virtually any dust collection system from wood to paper to chemical. It is also used in fume and oil mist collection. Even abrasive applications can be accommodated. The standard K&B Clamp Together/Quick Clamp Duct branches and fittings are fabricated from 18-gauge material as a standard and can be fabricated in up to 10-gauge. Likewise, elbows and duct can also be fabricated in 10-gauge for use in such applications as sand, coal or other abrasive applications.
Available in galvanized only. They are constructed of stamped halves that are then welded with a continuous “stitch” weld that is accomplished by using an inner and outer welding wheel to complete continuous spot welds. The K&B rolled lip collar is spot welded to the elbow and a beader forms the metal so that the ends of the metal are out of the air stream.
Application: Sizes 3˝ up to 6˝ are good for all dust applications. The larger sizes are recommended for light dust or air only as their gauge is not as heavy as those of the other elbows offered.
