Description:
The RT Series Roller Die Cutters are versatile enough to handle a full range of low to high production requirements. These machines will trim a wide range of materials such as skin packaged products, thermoformed products, cork, rubber and any other application where a steel rule die can be utilized.
Operation:
The operator places the steel rule trim die knife side up on one of the in-feed conveyers. The material to be trimmed is placed face down into the steel rule die. Large diameter spring pins can be used to help locate items that require registration to the trim die. A striker plate produced of a resilient material such is polypropylene is placed on the top of the “sandwich”. The operator actuates the start button to energize the pressure rollers and pushes the sandwich into the rollers. After the sandwich exits on the opposite side the operator pushes the stop button and removes the completed parts. The process is repeated and the sandwich is sent through the machine in the opposite direction.
