This Barber Colman long bed mechanical gear hobbing machine is a rare commodity because of it very long length of cut. It is suitable for making very long spline shafts or shaft parts with gears or splines at either end or in the center. NOTE- This machine has a desirable extension for the worktable through bore to hold extra long shafts which protrude through the worktable bore.
