This Drake CNC internal Thread Grinding machine was purchased from a
production medical component MFG . the machine is equipped with later
model Fanuc controls. Machine is coming from running service but has
been disconnected from service and has been delivered to our Statesville
NC Facility
the machine looks to be a J&L model H internal machine recontrolled by
Drake mfg with a crush roll type dresser . the machine was suitable for
high production of internal grinding threads of ball screw steering nuts
also used for internal threads having a radius or gothic thread form and
lead in excess of 3/16"
