The Centa-Form is available in shoe centerless, chucker or between center models - normally handles work up to 4 1/2" diameter and 18" long. Diamond roll dressers, and single point diamond dressers are among the optional dressers available to suit work requirements.
The Bryant Centa-Form grinds a wide variety of inner bearing races and similar type work parts to extremely close tolerances and finish requirements. Grinding the lip and track of roller bearing tapered cones on one operation is readily accomplished with the conjugate version of the Centa-Form machine.
One of the major advantages offered with the Centa-Form is that the grinding wheel is dressed at exactly the same point where the wheel and work contact during grinding. The use of this proven same point grinding principle is one of the reasons why the Bryant Centa-Form produces work parts to accuracies of millionths in less than half the time required in many cases by other machines.
